Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.— Galatians 6:2
About the ministry
Prayer is a way of walking with someone.
Prayer Opens Doors exists to encourage people facing uncertainty around work and the concerns it brings into daily life through faithful Christian prayer, Scripture, and compassionate support. We believe a person should be able to ask for prayer without surrendering their privacy or dignity.
Our purpose
Steady prayer when life feels uncertain.
Work uncertainty can bring waiting, disappointment, practical pressure, and questions about what comes next. We offer a place to bring those concerns before God.
A volunteer prayer warrior is assigned to each request. The volunteer commits to pray regularly and may send occasional biblical encouragement through this ministry. Every outgoing encouragement message is reviewed by the prayer team leader before it reaches the person who requested prayer.
How we practice care
A few commitments shape everything we do.
Keep prayer private
Requests are not published. Only the prayer team leader and the assigned volunteer can see a request. A first name or nickname is enough.
Honor each person's story
Volunteers keep requests confidential and never use a participant's story to recruit for a cause or promote a business.
Speak with care
We share Scripture and written encouragement without predicting a job offer or claiming to know what God will do next.
Know our limits
We offer prayer, not counseling, crisis intervention, or job placement. When someone needs another kind of help, the prayer team leader can direct them to appropriate resources.
Rooted in faith
Christian prayer, plainly offered.
Our encouragement is rooted in the Bible and in prayer to God through Jesus Christ. People from different Christian backgrounds may serve together under a shared commitment to Scripture, confidentiality, and care for the people who ask for prayer.

There is a place for your request.
Tell us what you would like prayer for. You can share as much or as little as you are comfortable sharing.
